About Dinis Rodrigues

I'm a born tinkerer with a passion for using and exploring technology. From fintech to solar-powered boats, I've tackled some pretty wild projects. Always seeking to learn and improve. Currently I'm working at Data4Deals, a fintech startup based in Lisbon, Portugal, where we are building the company's foundation to develop some cool stuff with AI on financial data. Prior to that, I worked at OutSystems where I was implementing AI solutions for low-code application development. I have also worked as a machine learning researcher at INESC-ID in Lisbon, where I was improving epidemiological models of the COVID-19 spread using deep neural networks, and in a project that aimed to automatically detect coronary artery stenosis from X-ray angiographies using deep learning. In addition to my experience in the tech industry, I lead a team of 35 people to build and develop a prototype of a solar-powered boat. I played a big role in gathering sponsorship deals, restructuring the project, building and managing a team, and contributing to the vision of the project towards hydrogen solutions for vessel mobility.
