About Diogo Lopes

With a background in Industrial Management and Engineering, I have been developing my career in the logistic and operations area. I have experience in several sectors, particularly, Energy, FMCG, Agro-food and Biofuels. Focusing on the process optimization and digitalization, I have also achieved great results in negotiation, purchasing as well as stock and fleet management. Since early on in my career I have had direct contact with company administrations and close involvement in strategic decision-making for key projects. I also have extensive experience leading teams, with a record of fostering motivation, commitment and achieving excellent results. I have designed and implemented the logistics operation to supply 12 million liters/year of edible oil, reduction of 30 % negotiating contracts and established stocks management strategy with savings of 50k€. I have led and participated in several projects of processes optimization, particularly, in the implementation of tablets for the technical team, enterprise-wide crucial data provision, digitalization processes and data uniformization used in the company. I was also responsible for the integration of purchase and warehouse modules in the ERP implementation, which allowed the company to keep the processes optimization as well as getting more detailed and up-to-date information about the core business. This experience allowed me to be recognize for my innovation, motivation, partnership and the goals achieved where, in this kind of projects the leadership is the key factor.
