Background

About Dione Chambers

I lead mission-driven organizations through strategic transformation, fiscal revitalization, and inclusive growth. With 15+ years of cross-sector leadership, I specialize in rebuilding underperforming nonprofits and chambers into vibrant, high-impact institutions that strengthen community, donor, and government trust. My executive approach blends operational rigor with people-first leadership—revitalizing governance structures, scaling revenue streams, and building high-performing teams. At the Okanagan Science Centre, I led a 61% revenue increase, secured $150K+ in annual grants, and retained 100% of a newly built team by embedding supportive HR policies and cultural alignment. I’ve also delivered high-stakes advocacy wins—including tax reform and infrastructure upgrades—through strategic stakeholder and government engagement. Whether revitalizing chambers, designing community partnerships, or enhancing DEI initiatives, I thrive on creating strategic frameworks that fuel resilience, innovation, and long-term sustainability. My track record spans grant writing, KPI design, economic development, Indigenous engagement, and board governance—guided by integrity, transparency, and impact. Areas of Expertise: • Organizational Revitalization • Nonprofit Board Governance • Government & Stakeholder Relations • Revenue Diversification & Grant Strategy • Economic Development Initiatives • Inclusive Leadership & Team Building • Donor Relations & Fundraising Strategy • Advocacy, Policy, & Public Affairs
