Background
About Dionna Williams
I am a very determined, happy, and outgoing individual. This past summer of 2017, I worked for the City of Milwaukee at the Department of City Development. Specifically the Commercial Corridor Team. It was a summer Internship. We learned and did a lot of Urban Planning. We met with residents, and also a lot of business owners who really inspired us. At the end of our 7 week internship we gave a presentation to the Deputy Commissioner of the Department Of City Development, and other city workers. Our presentation was about what we learned, our ideas for new businesses. It was a big hit! That is one of the things I will always be proud of. Another thing I am very proud of is that I got to participate in a street law class at my school. We learned a lot about the law and we also got to participate as a class in a mock trial. At the end of March in 2017, we went up against other schools and played out a whole trial. It was shortened because we are minors and it wasn't a real case.
