About Dionne Forbin

I graduated from Notre Dame of Maryland University with a Bachelor's of Arts in Chemistry, focusing on pre-pharmacy studies. At NDMU, I developed life-long skills that I am eager to apply to today’s real-world challenges. I have a deep commitment to prioritizing the needs of others and creating solutions that improve public health outcomes across all demographics, particularly for those in underserved and impoverished areas. As a PharmD/MS Regulatory science Candidate at the University of Maryland School of Pharmacy, I am actively working to turn this dream into a reality. I look forward to facing real issues, connecting with people who experience poor quality of life, and listening to their stories. My background as a first-generation Cameroonian student drives my desire for success. Through participation in numerous community-based volunteer events, I have had the privilege of working with individuals of all ethnicities and ages, learning about patient welfare and healthcare policies in both hospital and industry settings. I aim to apply these valuable experiences to future opportunities as I work towards becoming a healthcare professional.
