About Dipesh Dutta

I started my professional life in Marine & Logistics Department. In these years of my professional journey, I worked as an owner's consultant in bulk material handling projects & also played an important role as an "Independent Engineer" in Major Port DBFOT projects. I also helped the client in adopting new technology & suggested some essential modifications in their existing plant for improving efficiency. Successfully commissioning of a project is in itself a big challenge & in my tenure, my department got appreciation letters from the client for successful completion of two major port infrastructure projects. I feel to optimize the design one needs to be good at operation. So, I joined WBPDCL as a mechanical operation engineer & played a crucial role in business process re-engineering & helped the plant in optimizing fuel consumption. In 2019, my team successfully performed overhauling of a 210 MW plant along with implementing three new modifications that helped the plant in reducing auxiliary power consumption.
