About Dipti Agarwal

When the love for birds met the passion for sustainability Peepal was born. From being a communications professional for 13+ years to a full-time gardener my journey with Peepal has been very unplanned spontaneous yet fulfilling like never before. Born out of the burning desire to provide food and shelter to birds I set foot on this green journey during the pandemic. After months of research and development there was only logical conclusion to support the avian and human life both - to embrace the good old ways of living and working with nature not against it. And it all starts with plants - the genesis of all living and non-living beings. With Peepal I aim to address two critical challenges before us today. Beyond the physical attributes plants have far superior qualities in healing us emotionally and spiritually. How can we restore our wellbeing with this unseen unheard power of plants? Gardening itself is becoming non-eco-friendly with the choice of plants and materials being used today. How can we minimize this impact on our planet and its residents? Peepal came into existence while seeking answers to the above challenges. One of the starting points in this journey happens to be gardening where wellbeing joy and sustainability come together once again.
