About Dipti Mehra

An experienced communications leader with over 21 years of experience in the technology industry with Google and Microsoft. My career spans India and Asia Pacific’s developed and emerging countries. I am recognised as a trusted business advisor with a growth oriented approach and have led high performance teams operating in complex and fast paced environments. I am passionate about creating campaigns that sit at the intersection of innovation, authenticity and well timed impact. Over my career, I have driven communication programs across product, corporate and crisis, and have led owned and operated content platforms for companies. Currently, lead Product and Business PR and Communications at Google for the APAC region. My role includes comms for Google AI, Gemini, Search, Maps, Play and Android, Pixel, Ads and more. Was running Google’s Ads and Cloud business in India before this. Before Google, I was with Microsoft India for 7+ years in various functions and drove several high profile campaigns including Satya Nadella’s first visit to India as CEO, several launches of Windows, Xbox, Xbox Kinect and Office. Also brought Microsoft’s owned news platform to India and ran the editorial effort to bring bespoke stories to all our owned channels including social. Have also worked in various roles in PR Agencies - Text 100 (now Archetype) and Genesis BCW. Outside work, I enjoy scuba diving and solving crosswords and jigsaws. I am also a passionate foodie and am very often either found in my kitchen or trying a new restaurant.
