About Dirga Sinukaban

There are all kinds of recognized professionals in the aviation industry, and yet I am one of the unseen. I have been working for over 7 years as Air Traffic Controller (ATC) and also a recognized council member of IATCA, our very own professional organization. I am skilled in handling various types of aircrafts simultaneously - from little Pilatus PC-6 Porter to jumbo-sized Boeing - in an expeditious and safe manner. Time and time again I have proven to maintain composure under very stressful circumstances. I have three carefully maintained ATC ratings, and currently working as OJT Instructor for guiding nervous new hires. If you scan the airspace in Eastern Indonesia for those soaring iron wings, one of their pilots might be talking to me. I safeguard their lives, and yours in the process. Yet still, you will never know it was me.
