About Dirk Bredenkamp

I have a wide range of skills pertaining to the security field, from covert intelligence collection operations to close protection and physical security management. I started my career as an operational officer in the National Intelligence Service of South Africa (NIS) in 1984 and performed duties as operational surveillant and collector, close protection officer, embassy security coordinator, and counter espionage officer. After leaving the NIS/NIA I completed various security contracts throughout the Middle East, South America, Africa and Europe. During my career as intelligence officer I often functioned either independently or as leader of a team. I have been in a senior leadership or coordinating position on most of the projects I have completed after leaving the intelligence service. I currently work as Close Protection Officer at Henderson Risk Limited. We are an established business risk management company approaching 20 years of service to our clients.
