About Dirk de Kauwe

Beginning my career within the healthcare industry in 2011, I have worked as a Residential Aged Care Personal Carer with medication endorsement, Physiotherapy Allied Health Assistant, Disability Support Worker, and Health and Safety Representative. Within this time, I have developed the skills and knowledge in Person-centred care, dementia awareness and Disability Support (Holmesglen Institute). After receiving the prestigious TLC Aged Care's 2016 Chairman's Award, I received a scholarship to complete Cert IV in Allied Health Assistant, which vastly progressed my career within the healthcare setting. With the knowledge and experience I have received throughout my profession, I have taken the next steps forward to progress further into healthcare, undertaking studies with La Trobe University's Bachelors of Health Science, in pursuit of obtaining my Honours in Occupational Therapy. With a passionate about health and wellbeing, was made virtually public to display blogs, videos and memes to assist those with anxiety, depressions and self-development.
