Hey, I'm Disala, and welcome to my LinkedIn page! My journey in the tech industry has been driven by a passion for innovation and a commitment to excellence. Currently, I work as a Software Engineer on Ciena's 6500 & Waveserver-E products. I have also held roles within RLS Photonics Management and the WaveRouter Product Verification/Solutions Test teams. At this time, I'm also pursuing a Master's in Engineering Management at the University of Ottawa, I am focused on Operations Management and Advanced Project Management. My academic achievements include a Bachelor's in Civil Engineering with a specialization in Engineering Management & Entrepreneurship. Previously, I founded Hack the Hill, a non-profit dedicated to empowering students in technology. As Director & Executive Vice-President, I've engaged over 2,500 students and fostered a high-performance, collaborative environment with hundreds of volunteers from across the nation.
