Passionate about technology from a young age, I've always loved the excitement of problem-solving. With a background in both college and university education, I've delved into both the theoretical and practical aspects of the field, gaining a well-rounded perspective. Throughout my career, I've embraced diverse roles, from being an independent contributor at a startup where initiative was key, to working closely with a small team at a medium-sized company, and now traversing the intricacies of a global corporation with teams spread across the globe. This varied experience has honed my adaptability and collaboration skills, allowing me to thrive in any environment. In addition to my role as a Lead Software Engineer, I also enjoy teaching programming courses as a part-time professor at Durham College.
