About Disi Wacker

I am a passionate educator and creative professional with a diverse background in early childhood education, brand development, and digital marketing. Over the years, I’ve balanced my dedication to nurturing young minds with my entrepreneurial spirit, leading creative marketing strategies for a successful business while always remaining focused on what truly matters: fostering growth and creating meaningful experiences. In September 2024, I returned to my teaching career, bringing with me a renewed sense of purpose and enthusiasm for guiding young learners. As a current Pre-K Teacher with the NYC Department of Education, I am excited to create an inclusive, dynamic, and engaging environment where children can develop foundational academic skills, emotional intelligence, and a lifelong love of learning. I am committed to creating a safe and nurturing space that encourages exploration, curiosity, and personal growth for each of my students. During the past few years, I took a fulfilling break to focus on being a stay-at-home mom to my son. This experience not only deepened my understanding of child development and the importance of patience and flexibility, but it also reinforced my belief in the value of building strong, loving relationships with children during their formative years. This time away from the classroom allowed me to refresh and return to teaching with renewed energy and a fresh perspective. Before returning to teaching, I co-founded and served as the Chief Creative Officer at SprezzaBox, a subscription service that curates stylish accessories for men. In this role, I was responsible for the overall creative direction of the brand, including content and design for paid social ads, email marketing, social media, and website. I managed the company’s marketing calendar, created compelling campaigns, and ensured that all marketing materials were aligned with our brand vision. My leadership in this capacity helped grow the brand’s presence and engage a wide customer base. Whether teaching in the classroom or developing creative marketing campaigns, my mission has always been to create environments that support growth, creativity, and confidence. I am passionate about making a positive impact on young learners and using my skills to help shape a brighter future. My time as a stay-at-home mom has only deepened my commitment to child development and my dedication to giving every child the opportunity to thrive.
