Background
About Diviyaa Narine
Diviyaa Narine is a first-generation Guyanese-American animator, VFX and illustrator based in NJ/NYC. At Montclair State University, Diviyaa is presently pursuing her BFA in Animation and Visual Effects, specializing in 2D animation, design, composition, and storyboarding. Additionally, she is learning how to use 3D programs like Maya, Unreal Engine, and Nuke more effectively. Diviyaa believes in having a strong enthusiasm for what she produces. As a child, she fell in love with visual art inspired by Nickelodeon cartoons and retro anime, which promptly influenced her identity as an animator. She is currently spending the next two semesters working on her thesis,"Big Eraser In The Sky." Her goal is to create a memorable animated series that everyone can enjoy, and to overall make funny content. She hopes that one day her content can reach a wide audience.
