About Divya Aggarwal

With three years of extensive experience in anti-money laundering (AML) and due diligence at Fidelity International and in personal taxation at Sukh Tax and Financial Services, I possess a deep understanding of bank mandate validation, AML concepts, platform testing, CRA audits, T1 tax returns, client advisory and training new joiners. In my role as a Tax Associate at Sukh Tax, I successfully managed to build grasp of taxation concepts for T1 tax returns and understand CRA processes and audits. Additionally, as a Head Cashier at The Home Depot, I was able to mentor junior associates about POS systems, sales pitches for in-store credit cards, and loan projections, along with conducting community workshops monthly. I am a recent graduate from Lambton College in Financial Planning and Wealth Management, I have gained vast knowledge in Canadian Investment funds, Canadian Banking, Personal Finance, Insurance, Selling, and Taxation. I also hold a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Asia’s top women's university – Banasthali Vidyapith with a summer internship at Emaar Properties in the Finance team within the accounts payable team. I have always been committed to serving the community, I have volunteered at the National Service Scheme, India where we conducted multiple events on “Health and Safety of Children” by educating people. As a nature enthusiast, I have volunteered at Leaders for Tomorrow NGO, where we planted trees in a year. I have consistently made it to the Dean’s Honors List throughout my undergraduate (2015-18) and post-graduation (2022-23). I have served as the Vice president and class representative coordinator at the International Women’s Club (IWC) where I actively promoted the club and presented the ideas for conducting various on and off-campus events. I was an active member of the CSR team at Fidelity International where I managed to organize a food donation drive single-handedly for the underprivileged section of the community. I am a highly motivated individual with strong interpersonal skills. I thrive in a collaborative and fast-paced environment. I am eager to join organizations that share my passion for making a positive impact and value-driven work.
