About Divya Banka

I am a sophomore at Indiana University Bloomington, majoring in Management and Business Analytics with a minor in Psychology and Healthcare Management. My father is a businessman, and seeing him work, going to the office every day, and seeing him talk about the same made him seem so passionate about his work. That played a huge role in building my interest in this area. As a result, I took online courses on edX by various esteemed institutions that later helped me get internships. Through these internships, I gained experience and understood the different paces of my various types of work. For example, my internship at Awoke India gave me an idea about being a researcher. My internship at Chariot required me to conduct interviews, which helped me learn skills such as rapport-building in a professional environment. However, owning a business, being financially independent, and having enough capital to do good for society was more satisfying. I plan to cultivate this future aspiration of my motivated self by developing an entrepreneurial mindset with an organization supporting my entrepreneurial efforts and providing me with various networking opportunities. Therefore, I plan to give the organization I work to with my time, passion, and everything in me.
