About Divya Dhangar
I grew up in a Akanksha and Teach For India classroom and today I teach in one. My school gave me lot of opportunities and exposure to the outside world and made me confident enough to come out of my community to serve and give whatever I got from my teachers to the children of India that I teach today as a Teach For India Fellow in a low income private school in Mumbai, Maharashtra. My vision for children of India is to build student leaders like me from the communities we come from. I believe that true change comes from the grassroots where children from the under-resourced communities come out as leaders by being the change for themselves and for others. And this will only happen when the children from under resourced communities get an excellent education and love that they deserve.
