About Divya Dias

I made my first game as an act of rebellion when I was three years old because they wouldn't give us toys in the classroom. The game was who could move their desk furthest in front without getting caught by the teacher. In pharmacy college, we made crime scene games which included ethically testing rat's blood. I've got nuns in Maharashtra excited about teaching tribal kids through games, taught games to corporate trainers to make employees' lives happier and better, and taught my dad tactile games in order to help him use his hands again. I've worked in the online and mobile games industry for eight years, coming up with characters and stories for games ranging from high school dressup game to historical hidden object games. I've created a Choose Your Own Adventure in FarmVille 2. I've also tried turning Minesweeper into an NPC-driven whodunnit adventure set in my own fantasy universe. Right now, I'm working on adding diverse voices to New World, a PC based MMORPG, to make media that portrays all cultures equally. I'm also working on a card game that represents the closeness and humor of an Indian family. I want to brighten the world by giving people the joy of games. And I want to represent people as they are, in games, one NPC at a time.
