From handcrafted couture to retail floors, my journey blends creativity, leadership, and a growing commitment to sustainable business. Hi, I’m a fashion entrepreneur and retail professional with over six years of experience in customer service, design, and retail management. My career started with a Retail Store in India, where I gained hands-on experience in garment customization and client engagement. In 2021, I founded Divya Malik Atelier, a bespoke fashion brand where I oversaw all aspects of the business-from designing unique apparel and refining products to managing client relationships and leading a small team. This role deepened my skills in customer service, team training, and market strategy, ensuring each product and interaction reflected quality and personalization. In 2024, I moved to Canada and completed a postgraduate certificate in Sustainable Business Management. This education shifted my perspective, fueling a passion for integrating ethical and sustainable practices into fashion and retail. Since then, I have worked with well-known retailers like Aldo, Mark’s(Canadian Tire), focusing on driving sales, improving customer satisfaction, visual merchandising, and staff development. I combine creative vision with operational leadership to create inviting, efficient, and customer-centric retail experiences. Outside of work, I enjoy music, writing journal, hiking, and skating.
