About Divya Navuluri

I am currently pursuing a Master's degree in Computer Science and Engineering at The Pennsylvania State University, expected to graduate in December 2025. My passion lies in machine learning, Software Engineer and data science to drive innovation and solve real-world problems. I have worked on several machine learning projects that showcase my technical expertise and problem-solving abilities. One of my recent projects involved developing a classifier using BERT and neural networks to identify text outputs from large language models (LLMs), achieving 90% accuracy with datasets like HellaSwag and Wikipedia. Another project, Mirror Your Movements, focused on generating pose-controllable character videos from text descriptions using a two-stage training scheme and advanced techniques like latent diffusion models and self-attention mechanisms for enhanced realism. Additionally, I contributed to a project on Student Placement Analysis Using Machine Learning, where I applied various algorithms to predict student placement outcomes, resulting in a publication in through the ICCES 2023 conference. In terms of professional experience, I worked as a Data Scientist at Cognizant, where I developed advanced analytics models to optimize network performance and reliability. I created predictive models to enhance network operations and mentored junior data scientists. Earlier, I also gained hands-on experience as a Full-Stack Developer Intern at Credo Systemz, where I developed websites using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, NodeJS, and MySQL, with a focus on secure and user-friendly designs. Alongside my academic and professional experiences, I am currently serving as a Graduate Teaching Assistant at Penn State, where I support students in understanding complex theories in discrete mathematics and computation theory. My role involves guiding students through problem-solving strategies, grading assignments, and fostering a collaborative learning environment. My goal is to combine my technical expertise with my passion for teaching to empower others and contribute to innovation.
