Background

About Dj Arguello

I build AI systems that work at scale and hold up under pressure. At Google (L7, Outstanding Impact), I spent seven years embedded in DeepMind, Gemini, Waymo, and Core Infrastructure. I set the technical direction for AI evaluation across Gemini and DeepMind, leading the team that built the framework for assessing model safety and production readiness. It became the Alphabet-wide standard for all subsequent major AI launches. I was selected as a Principles Pioneer for adversarial testing on live AI product releases, developing new techniques to detect bias and alignment failures before they shipped.I also built Risk Runner, a full-stack telemetry platform integrating 35+ data sources, which was adopted company-wide as the fleet monitoring standard. Now I lead three Director-level technology practices at a global exchange, where I defined the AI platform strategy and led the team that shipped a stateful multi-agent orchestration platform with persistent state across sessions, custom skill trees, and multiple production agents running autonomously. One of those agents autonomously evaluates every new product launch with minimal human intervention.7 USPTO patent filings across two decades. AIGP, CISSP, PMP, MBA.
