About Dj Furth

DJ is a versatile director and visual artist whose work seamlessly explores the spaces between film, art, music video and documentary storytelling. His work is characterized by intimate stories, absorbing visuals and sound alongside performances elicited with a rare subtlety and sensibility. Raised in a small mountain town to two classical musicians, DJ later spent over a decade living in China. His life experience has lent a unique cross-cultural lens, curiosity and desire to continually stretch creative boundaries and express diverse perspectives. He’s most passionate about supporting and amplifying the core of the characters he crafts through deep empathy and respect. His work has been included in film festivals, art exhibitions and curated video programs globally. He is represented in the U.S. by Doomsday Entertainment.
