About Dmitriy Berillo

Chemist in the field of organic synthetic chemistry and polymer chemistry with more than 10 years laboratory experience and excellent academic qualifications within design of organic synthesis and preparation of polymers with given properties. Moreover 3 years experience in microbiology, Gramm staining, culturing aerobic and anaerobic strains, antimicrobial test, MTT assay. The main focus of research is design non chemically crosslinked biocompatible scaffolds for biomedical application. PhD organic chemistry, 7 years of postdoctoral academic research in polymer chemistry, including 18 months of industrial research and 18 months in academic research in surface chemistry of gold for Biosensors (SPR, QCM, Impedance, Capacitive). Extended experience in preparation of adsorbents for water purification from metal ions, organic compounds and bacteria including porous material with AgNPs with antimicrobial activity. New challenges and continuous professional development have always motivated me. I like to work in cross-functional environments and enjoy team work. I am happy to combine all variety of previous R&D experience with new opportunities for further development.
