About Dmitry Khorev

Software engineer with 9+ years of experience producing scalable web-based server/client applications. I am a certified Node.js developer with expert knowledge of NodeJS and PHP. Have a strong interest in Go software engineering. I think, my career started when I wrote my first line of BASIC code as a kid. I have then taken on many roles from being a QA Engineer, and PM to founding an e-commerce t-shirt store and taking responsibility and care of a large website. I have been in love with web development and backend development since then. Well-versed in back-end development. I also possess DevOps skills - Kubernetes, Terraform, and CircleCI, and have deep knowledge of some AWS services. Have experience with the Vue.js front-end framework, and I’m learning React to add to my stack. I'm effectively an end-to-end engineer with the ability to take projects from zero to 1 and to scale. I'm very passionate about software quality, so I take responsibility for any task I work on and thus am a very reliable software engineer. I have great feedback from my colleagues about being a supportive team player who can work on a team or independently.
