About Dmitry Tsarkov

I was first exposed to computers and programming at school, and I immediately knew that this is my lifetime passion. Being raised in a difficult financial situation, I had to concentrate on what seemed at a time as a more practical career path of a lawyer, but I soon realized that in order to be a productive member of society I have to concentrate on what I do best. In many years of my diverse experience in software development I have completed projects of different scales and ranges of requirements. My background in law and my current career in core banking software development further enriched the experience with deeper understanding of financial services and complex business processes requiring significant degree of automation, providing a challenging security surface and severely constrained by the regulators. At my current position I am constantly engaged in all sorts of software development activities ranging from coding and reviewing others' code, to capturing complex and sometimes underdeveloped technical and business requirements, to laying out architectures for the solutions to the complex problems, to release management in the circumstance of complex clients' feature deployment schedules, to incident response and basically to any other software development activity you can think of. Software development is my greatest passion, and the primary source of joy in my life.
