Experienced Ruby and Ruby on Rails developer since 2012, specializing in feature development, legacy code refactoring, and performance optimization for both large-scale and small-scale applications. Throughout the past decade, I've encountered numerous performance challenges, with the database often being the underlying cause. Leveraging my deep understanding of relational databases, I excel at maximizing their efficiency. I prefer working with PostgreSQL, but have some experience with other SQL and NoSQL databases like Elasticsearch, Solr, Redis, MongoDB and MySQL. When it comes to building APIs, I am particularly fond of GraphQL for its flexibility and power.
