Hello I am Dnyaneshwar More. I come from one of the most rural areas of Maharashtra. In India when you are born in one of the villages your journey starts with politics and government policies. I have also experienced different colours of these things since my childhood. I have grown up listening to the communications filled with politics, caste, government, agriculture between the rural inhabitants of my area. I was always eager to know how political and administrative policies are designed. Because these policies affect almost all the decisions one makes in his/ her life. I was always curious about this whole process and that is the reason why I have applied for this. Politics and media is one of the most prominent things in India. Politics and media are the thing which can change the whole course of our day to day living. Politics is one of the most talked about subjects in typical Indian conversation. Politics is what we wake up to and politics is the thing with which we go to bed. Politics is also a process which goes on and on its basically incessant, it never stops. Because of this interesting nature of politics I have developed a strong desire to do research and study further in this field. Especially Indian politics is the thing on which I want to study more.and want present through my journalism. Every system has its flaws. Indian politics is not an exception to it. As a journalist I want to focus on finding these flaws and providing appropriate and practical solutions to these problems. If there are no solutions to some flaws then I will try to suggest different alternatives to the current approach of addressing these flaws. This is the reason why I think this platform will help me a lot. I am a student of journalism and I think this platform will help me in broadening the horizons of my understanding and perspectives towards politics and media and life as a whole. I think this opportunity will also provide me with amazing experiences and eye opening, on ground, practical approach towards life. Thank you.
