An experienced trainer, with twenty-seven years as a university lecturer, including vocational training in communication skills, media technologies and journalism practice. This experience has been supplemented by considerable training exposure in the business, professional and voluntary sectors. A skilled project manager, having worked in management positions in media, computing and retail sectors, with an acute awareness of deadlines and a personal disposition suited to motivating individuals and facilitating teamwork. I have worked with individuals and organisations, both large and small, in delivering effective communication courses and workshops, including the Garda Síochána, the Irish Cancer Society, the Law Society of Ireland, Rotary International, RTE and Teagasc.
