I recently retired as the Director of Instructional Support Services at Sullivan County BOCES. Four years ago I completed my Ed.D. in Educational Leadership, Management, and Policy from Seton Hall University. My dissertation topic concerned policy implementation, specifically how districts respond to concurrent mandates simultaneously and how trust and power may be involved. I have continued my study by keeping informed about policy decisions. With over 30 years of experience in education, I believe in the power of a strong professional development plan and the importance of its successful implementation. By building the skills of the teachers, we are providing them with the tools they need to ensure the success of all students. I am currently available to work with school districts to provide customized professional development. I am also an avid writer, and I seeking opportunities in this area as well.
