Dolly is a Professional Engineer registered with the Engineering council of South Africa and has over 13 years working experience within engineering of which she has spent 5 years in a management role. In her management role, she is involved in managing and organizing local Services engineering team according to the business and region needs. She has experience in both power and rail industries currently working for Gibela Rail Transport Consortium where she is serving as a Services Engineering Manager. As a manager, her experience covers managing projects, development of long and short term engineering objectives, human resource management as well as giving overall direction. Furthermore, she is involved in managing training of staff, management of engineering procedures, negotiation and managing workload and purchases. She has exceptional experience in the following plant areas and systems i.e. Power Plant turbines including systems such as: Condensers, Feed Pumps, Boiler Feed Pump Turbine, Feed Pump Auxiliaries (i.e. Lube Oil System, Water Seal System and all associated Valves). Her technical expertise and leadership skills, workload planning, management and maintenance optimisation has given her a better competitive edge among her peers. Her career goal is to work in an environment that offers both technical and leadership experience, as she believes that it is a more diverse and challenging environment that is aligned to her work ethics. In that regard, she sees herself as a highly motivated, goal-driven individual with the ability to work well in a team, whilst at the same time being able to use her own initiative when it is required.
