About Dolly Sarkar

I am working in Software development sector for last 12 years. I have experience working in India, United Kingdom and Germany. I have performed various roles at different stages of software development and worked on projects with varying complexity. I have worked in various models like agile, BDD, TDD, waterfall. I describe my skillset as a mix of technical and functional capabilities. I have been trained in software development using J2EE and have applied knowledge from this in various roles such as Test Analyst, Technical Analyst and Solutions Architect. I'm keen on developing my technical skills in my current and future roles. I prefer this as it empowers me to be independent at many tasks and grasp complexity of various tasks better.For last 5 years I have performed Client facing role regularly, taking Business requirements, converting them into functional designs, workflows, architecture involving complex integration. I have been strong in this role and recently gone back into it after short stint as Project Manager.In future I want to explore data analysis as a career or acquire this skillset while working on business analysis side. I prefer to work remote but open to working client-site where needed. I speak English fluently and use this language primarily at work. Recently I acquired B1 level proficiency in German and continue to learn to further advanced levels. This helps me perform better at my current role as Professional Services Consultant as our clients are based in DACH region.
