About Dolphin Mogajane

I hold a B.Sc honours degree in Medical Sciences (2019), University of Limpopo. I majored in Advanced Human Genetics and did honours research on Topic “The association of DNA methylation with obesity in black females from the Dikgale Health Demographic Surveillance System Centre in the Limpopo province”. I have earned experience in DNA/RNA extraction, quantification and qualification, primer design and basic laboratory skills. I have completed a 10 month (Feb-Nov 2019) structured Community engagement student volunteer program presented by the Rural Development and Innovation Hub (University of Limpopo), which focused on teaching high school learners science communication on the topic ‘Epigenetics and the in-utero Environment’. I gained experience and introduction to Clinical Research working as a Clinical Trial Assistant at Mzansi Ethical Research Center (MERC) in Middelburg (2020-2021) where my responsibilities included data capturing on iMedidata RAVE, participant tracking on IQVIA Study Hub, study time line tracking, operating IWRS systems (Signant Health and PPD IWRS portal) and assisting with clinical trail project management. I have worked on 3 different COVID-19 studies. I then became a Clinical Trial Coordinator at Pharmaceutical Product Development, June 2021-May 2022. Tasks included: • performing department, internal, country and investigator file reviews as assigned and document findings in appropriate system • Supporting the maintenance of study specific documentation and systems • Coordination, compilation, and distribution of Investigator Site File (ISF) and Pharmacy binder materials and non-clinical study supplies to sites • Assist with clarification and resolution of findings related to site documentation 3. Also worked as Site Management Associate 1 at ICON plc, May 2022 to Feb 2023. Functions included being the sites' main point of contact for 6 studies and 32 sites. Performing ethics committee submissions and notifications. Performing and documenting clinical data reviews and query resolution. Setting up and maintaining study documents in different systems 4. I am currently working as a Project Specialist II at FHI Clinical inc, Feb 2023 to date. I perform administrative and supportive activities such as creation, management and maintenance of Project Management dashboards, initiating of creation of Clinical Systems.
