I like to draw. I've put on events and productions. I've told many poets to point their head at the mic and not the book they are reading from. I’m learning to code. I once replaced a theatre compere with a goldfish made out of a carved out carrot I made with a butter knife. If I corner someone and ramble at them about my past work they usually find it varied, if not curious. From working with children in play work and youthwork to co-ordinating and programming events I find there’s more in common between them then what people may think. There’s a lot of similarities between a child in your care running off across the park to the horizon and the idealistic musician who has wandered away from the greenroom when they are supposed to be on stage. Both are stressful situations; you have to run fast and remain relatively upbeat when you catch them. At the heart of my interest and passions is creativity and art. I have a huge love of illustration and design which I’ve unashamedly tried to cram into any workshop I’ve delivered. I regularly post personal work and commissions on my Instagram and Twitch stream character design sessions, draw-along and tutorials. It’s been a great way to meet other creatives.
