About Dom Ramos

Experienced project manager with a vast background in MEP construction who strives on leadership and building extraordinary world class buildings. Currently a project manager for a mechanical contractor focusing on a data center for a confidential client. In this role I focus on the mechanical and plumbing portions of the building by providing different processes and solutions to help maintain schedule and the project budget. In my previous role, I was a MEP project manager for a data center focused general contractor at Fortis Construction. Although my position was short term, I focused mainly on developing the MEP management team by bringing new innovations and scheduling tactics to help maintain client expectations with the mechanical and fire protection subcontractors. Before getting to this point in my career I worked for Harris Company as a traveling project manager where I worked in various states performing mega projects such as manufacturing and data center projects. My background was tailored towards budgeting, scheduling, team coordination and estimating. I’ve used many softwares such as CMIC, Viewpoint, Sage, COINs, Microsoft excel, BIM 360, Smartsheets and Procore. My career has been nothing but optimal. In the construction industry I’ve come to find that this is where I belong. I am passionate on seeing ideas sketched on a paper napkin and then see those ideas turn into a model to eventually hit an issued for construction drawing. My passion in this industry is to see new beginnings and buildings come to life. I want to continue to learn, grow and bring new ideas to the table to further build extraordinary buildings.
