About Dominic Tejada

As a member of the United States Air Force, I've been disciplined in many technical and logistical skills which have added great value to my team and organization as a whole. Key highlights from my time in the service include project management, upholding and improving logistical operational procedures, supervisory and management roles, risk management, governance and compliance, and scheduling.Balancing my role as a System Specialist with academic pursuits, I’m currently advancing towards a Bachelor of Science in Cybersecurity and Information Assurance at Western Governors University. With a growing and robust foundation in technical support and newly acquired certifications like Google Cybersecurity and CompTIA A+, I am actively contributing to our nation's cyber defense capabilities while shaping a future in information security.Among my current formal education, I regularly participate in many additional learning platforms with the goal of furthering my personal skills to benefit whatever organization I am fortunate enough to join. Some examples include hands-on labs via TryHackMe and Hack The Box, additional certification goals outside of my Bachelors degree, and courses offered through Udemy and LinkedIn Learning. I hope to continue to improve and hone my skills within IT/Cybersecurity, regardless of where I land, and look forward to networking with likeminded individuals/companies, and growing in my contributions to the field.
