My research focuses on the development of a regenerative scaffold for the treatment of total ACL ruptures- Check out my OutReach updates on Instagram:@3DPh.D - Check out my website for both my research and my home projects: - Experienced Graduate Teaching Assistant - Widening Participation Fellow - Three years experience in biocompatibility testing and bio-analytical techniques, with 6 months industrial experience in advanced wound care, during which I was responsible for feasibility assessments of potential collagen scaffolds for skin regeneration- University modules taken in cellular behaviour and processes, biological matrices in nature and biomaterials, and medical device regulatory progression. Additional modules taken in drug delivery, metallurgy, ceramics, polymers and nano-materials- Investigative roles in group projects, assessing the the interactions of bone marrow-derived mesenchymal stem cells (BM-MSCs) and Osteosarcomas (Saos2s) with Graphene Oxide- 2.5 years experience as a PASS Leader for first/second/third year materials scientists. 4.5 years as a STEM Ambassador for the School of Materials, UoM. I currently lead the biomaterials branch and have designed a successful topography activity for students and adults of all ages and levels of scientific knowledge- Defensive Captain for Tyrants American Football Team, UoM in addition to DE, DT, OG, OT, C, LS, FGS, FB, RB - Cheese and wine Enthusiast.
