About Dominik Munk

After starting my professional career with SIEMENS Power Generation Engineering for Heating, Ventilation & Air Conditioning Systems I took all offered opportunities to further develop and strengthen my skills & capabilities in regards to Project management, leadership of crossregional and - functional teams and usage of agile methods. The first step changed my mind drastically when going away from long term handling of written contracts to creating customer specific proposals in a fraction of the time. The high pressure and variety of that job was so motivating that I decided to move forward in the bid management, finally being a bid manager who leads a globally located team of experts and deals with customers around the world. Why not still there? The biggest challenge was and still is in my opinion the incredibly fast development of everything called „digital“. The flood of information and the speed of new features coming up is hard to integrate into systems running same way for decades. Transparency, sustainable collection of information and state of the art user interfaces are the new tasks which drive me everyday. It seems the fight against stubborn ancient times will never end, but if never stop learning and always look forward there is at least a chance.
