About Dominika Walocha

With over 7 years of experience in UX/UI design, I’ve had the opportunity to work across diverse industries, ranging from eCommerce to sustainability solutions. I began my career in a digital agency, where I developed a deep understanding of eCommerce platforms by designing websites for both boutique brands and global enterprises. This experience provided me with a solid foundation in UI design, allowing me to intuitively step into the role of the user, as online shopping is something most of us can relate to. As my career evolved, I expanded my skill and I’ve had the chance to work in industries I wasn’t initially familiar with, which challenged me to become the voice and advocate for users whose daily realities I didn’t share. This shift introduced me to deeper research practices such as design thinking workshops, user journey mapping, in-depth interviews, and usability testing. I thrived in this role, gathering insights that helped me create more effective, user-centered solutions. Currently, I work at EcoVadis, where my focus is on supporting users engaged in decarbonization efforts. I collaborate closely with clients to understand their needs and expectations from our platform, and I propose tailored solutions to help them meet their sustainability goals. My role involves translating user feedback into actionable design improvements, ensuring that the platform evolves in line with user requirements and industry standards. My passion lies in creating meaningful, user-centered designs that drive both business and social impact. I’m always eager to apply my skills in UX research, user empathy, and strategic thinking to solve complex challenges and contribute to impactful projects.
