Senior research engineer expert in systems and optical networking at Bell Labs, NOKIA, France. Focus on the eco-design techniques with the objective to reduce CAPEX and OPEX for wired and wireless optical communication systems and networks. This includes network segments of access networks, metro networks, core networks, data centers and more recently Front-Mid Haul and Backhaul and Light Communication technologies. Positions: Researcher in new 5G network solutions based on wired and wireless optical technologies completing RF technologes for the access and for vertical markets (Industry 4.0, Smart Cities, Hospitals.). Vice Chair of the International Light Communication Alliance (LCA). Scientific responsible of a Teaching Chaire TSP-Nokia. Associate professor at the Institut Polytechnique de Paris and at Polytech of the University of Orsay for more than 20 years. Main scientific recognitions: French Chapter Chair of the Alcatel-Lucent Technical Academy (ALTA), MTS and DMTS of ALTA. More than 25 external and internal awards or recognitions. Member of technical committees of international expert conferences, like PS or ONDM. In the steering committee of the International Photonics in Switching conference, and responsible for the European zone. General Chair of PS in 2003 (Versailles) and 2012 (Ajaccio, Corsica). More than 200 publications and patents.
