About Dominique Davis

A pivot is a change in strategy without a change in vision.” ~Unknown A proven partner and strategic leader in energy, my career journey is comprised of multiple pivots that enhanced my expertise in technology, finance, and policy –all key factors in the energy transition. My exponential journey has yet to peak and I am committed to make a significant difference as a strategic decision-maker in the energy industry. My early career began in IT. As a top performer, I swiftly elevated from a software developer to a quality assurance analyst, business analyst, and product owner. Each experience served as a catalyst that ignited my ability to communicate effectively and understand the software’s development lifecycle and agile changes. My pivot into project management and market strategy broadened my business acumen in energy markets and transmission planning. As a multi-faceted professional, I leveraged my finance and accounting skills to manage finance budgets and procurements. Additionally, I gained an appreciation of how energy market products are curated, and that is what turned on the lightbulb in my head; ultimately, opening my eyes to the evolving energy industry and the fast-approaching transition. As a change agent, this work excites me daily! My most recent pivot into leadership proved my ability to understand policy, craft strategy, connect people, and influence change that leads to real impact for real people. INFLUENTIAL. STRATEGIC. ADAPTABLE. I am a compassionate leader with a passion for transformational change, which cannot be accomplished without being open to new possibilities, assessing the impact of different perspectives, and being willing to confront the consequences. Thankfully, I get off the grid to enjoy quality time with family and friends, church activities and ample leisure trips.
