A community-obsessed and purpose-driven High School Coach who understands the balance between winning and education. Passionate about inspiring students to achieve their highest level of success both in and out the pool. Specialized in developing engaging drills and out-of-the-box plays that results in successful outcomes at games. Adept at utilizing the talents of players creating a strong team environment and emphasizing sportsmanship over all else. I have 30 years of experience with a swimming pool. I swam competitively and played water polo competitively all year round. I have PRT (Pacific ranked time) and NRT (national ranked time) for 100 meter butterfly and IM (individual medley). I have received the presidential physical fitness award in 1996 from President Clinton. My sophomore year in high school 2004 My club team went to junior Olympics and we placed seventh in the nation. That same year I received “student/Teen of the month” For California. Awarded to work at the 49er training camp at University of Pacific. I also have received first team all-American and first team all league. I attended Merced College I received “defensive player of the year” and ranked 7th in state. I joined a nonprofit organization at an aquatic Center for wellness classes, physical therapy and swim lessons. I own the Business “Pools and Lifeguard management LLC” I got contracted for a summer program through the school district to open three high school pools open to the public for free. I do free water polo camps during the summer as well as a Wellness program. I am Head coach for varsity boys and girls at Edison High School.
