About Don Ables

Goal is to be a hands on leader in the development of large scale information processing systems. I have previous experience in the full range of the software development life cycle including hands on management and development of commercial software packages including MPP Database Systems, Equity Trading Systems, Data Warehouse search systems and large scale project management systems. My past experience includes instruction Advanced Database Systems, Computer Science Research and Object Oriented Analysis and Design at California State University level. Specialties: Database design, access methods, database performance. Systems Architecture and implementation using tools such as Agile, UML, Java, C, C# on microsoft and/or unix. I have also done a lot of work with sockets and protocols including Bloomberg, Postgres, Data Direct and TDS.
