Don Barry recently became the Principal of the Asset Management (Sustainability) Practice at FAHM Technology Partners. Don continues to be the President and Principal Consultant at Asset Acumen Consulting Inc. Still teaching at UofT and taking on Asset Management strategy projects. He is experienced in helping clients with Predictive Asset Analytics, supporting Asset Management strategy, Reliability, Maximo, and APM solutions. He previously acted as the Global Center of Competency (CoC) Lead / Advisor In Predictive Asset Analytics for IBM’s Global Asset Management Practice. Of Note - Reliability Centred Maintenance Practitioner (RCM2) Instructor of the University of Toronto’s "Physical Asset Management Certificate" program at UofT and the University of West Indies. Instructor and creator of the University of Toronto Maintenance Parts Masters Program (Part of the Maintenance Masters Program at UofT) Do was the main contributor to the rewrite of the book 'Asset Management Excellence' that was published in Nov 2010, Publication: John D. Campbell; Andrew K.S. Jardine, McGlynn with main contributions by Don Barry: Asset Management Excellence: Optimizing Equipment Life-Cycle Decisions, Second Edition, in Book, CRC Press, Taylor and Francis Group, 2010, ISBN: 9780849303005 - Note Don will lead the 3rd edition to rewrite throughout 2023. Maintenance Parts Management Excellence, A Holistic Anatomy is expected to be available as a textbook in the first quarter of 2023.(Also CRC Press). Don Barry acted as a co-leader of the Global Asset Management Center of Excellence (AMcoe) for IBM Global Business Services.
