About Don Bergh

Currently, Don holds holds the Louis D. Beaumont Chair of Business Administration and Professor of Management at the Daniels College of Business at the University of Denver. He also is a Visiting Professor at Erasmus Rotterdam School of Management and University College Dublin Smurfit School of Business. He earned his PhD at Colorado-Boulder. He started his academic career at Penn State. After 13 years, he moved to Cornell, then Purdue, and eventually returned to the state of Colorado and an endowed chair at Denver. His research interests include developing forecasting models of acquisition and divestiture outcomes and improving the application of research methods in strategic management. He has worked in both large (Electronic Data Systems) and small organizations (Fluids Control), was a US Army Reservist (cavalry), and a former track and cross country athlete. His personal interests include running, hiking, golf, and fishing.
