About Don Brooks

I have a diverse background in manufacturing, operations management, root cause analysis, continuous improvement, process optimization | design, process safety, construction management and lean six sigma. I am used to collaborating in both team environments and independently, communicating effectively with diverse personality types. I serve as mentor and coach to stakeholders by developing policies, procedures, checklists, training documentation and instructor lead training. I am proficient in large capital project execution with the global work process performing many administrative and construction tasks. Proficient in technical | operational and analytical | scientific processes through job-related training and considerable on job experience. Implemented Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) management systems which met business objectives maintaining the license to operate. Provided hands-on environmental, industrial hygiene (IH), and health and safety (H&S) activities for sites. Use to international | rotational assignments as an expat at the Dow Corning Zhangjiagang sites in Zhangjiagang, China. Oversaw EHS safety improvements and implementations, developing operations and support teams, coaching and mentoring area technicians, engineers, and team leaders bridging language barriers.
