Intelligence, Security and Aviation professional with over 40 years of experience, including overseas locations. Numerous Certifications and Skills to include: Security Fundamentals Professional Certification (SFPC), Special Security Officer (SSO), Security Manager, Security Specialist, SCIF Design/ Construct and Management, FAA/Master Army Aviator, FAA Full Service Air Traffic Controller, Operations/Maintenance Officer and Flight Instructor. Currently working as Emergency and Security Manager at Naval Station Guantanamo Bay Naval Hospital. Previous successful assignments- Command Security Manager for Military Commissions in Guantanamo Bay - Chief, Physical Security for two major Joint DoD COCOMs in the UK. Retired Army officer with 21 years active duty service and experience in Special Security, AT/FP, all facets of aviation (Master Aviator, Operations and Airport Management, etc.). DOD security clearance with recent PR. Constantly demonstrate ability to lead large groups of personnel (100-800) groups or small teams working autonomously in the planning and execution of complex tasks with critical timelines. Extensive experience in strategic and operational planning, personnel training, team building, and materiel and facilities management. Through many projects, training exercises and real world contingencies, I have skillfully liaised with foreign military, non-military, governmental and non-governmental officials throughout the world with effective communication skills. Since retiring in 2006, remained with the DoD as a Government Civilian in support of US War Fighters by enhancing the protection of our forces and valuable National Security Information.
