About Don Drew

I will soon become a Professor Emeritus as I transition from full-time teaching to explore other opportunities, primarily working with nonprofits and social enterprises. My 44 years of experience have included a career in the United States Air Force as a logistics planner and strategist, a corporate role as a project manager and performance enhancement team lead, and 24 years as a professor teaching management, leadership, and organizational behavior. While at the university I served as founding director of Oklahoma Christian University's MBA program, and have served on the university's senior leadership team as Dean of Graduate Programs and Associate Vice President for Academic Affairs. My primary areas of expertise are executive and leadership coaching, motivation in complex organizations, organization development, strategic planning, and social enterprise development. Among my favorite accomplishments are establishing OC's flagship course in Social Entrepreneurship, serving as Academic Director for Peace Through Business, and helping to establish advanced academic programs in Rwanda. I have enjoyed working with nonprofits in Oklahoma, Ghana, Sierra Leon, Rwanda, Honduras, the Philippines, and other nations as well as locally to enhance their abilities to effect positive social change. Skills include: strategic development, human relations, talent development, planning, creating a motivating work environment, and organization culture and its impact on performance.
