About Don E. Dailey

Currently Senior Research Associate with the Public /affairs Research Council of Alabama, after several years leading and contributing to national, state, and local program evaluation studies in education sponsored by foundations, government agencies, non-profits, and institutions of higher education. Currently studying the Alabama Literacy Act, developing schools as caring communities that support academic and social-emotional learning, and charter schools. Past education research experience focused on students at risk of failing, transition into higher education, learning communities and school reorganization, and state reading and math-science initiatives. Qualitative and mixed methods research. Combines research expertise with strong conceptual leadership and communications.
