About Don Giffin
While growing up in LaPorte along the Houston ship Channel and Bayport industries I worked for a local businessman Jack Humphrey at Humphrey radiator before going to work overseas with my father in-law Bill Nowell for Brown and Root in Bombay India after returning home I started my own radiator shop which I still own to this day. In 1992 my good friend Gary Johnson introduced me to insurance adjusting. My wife and I worked 15 out of the last 20 years for Pilot catastrophe working Allstate property claims In many different capacities field support,help room manager, mediation during Katrina, commercial and residential claims we also met many very wonderful people who we are still friends with to this day. Five years ago we came home thinking we would not work in the insurance industry again but when hurricane Harvey hit we siezed the opportunity go back to work in the Houston area and have now worked for Schafer Wood and Worley Claim services. I am very grateful to Arnold and Madison for giving me those opportunities I hope to continue to work here locally for several more years. And that’s my story and I’m sticking to it🤠 I
